**Department of Sport, Arts and Culture (DSAC)

Internships Programme 2026–2028**

The Department of Sport, Arts and Culture (DSAC) invites applications from suitably qualified unemployed South African graduates for participation in its Internships Programme for the 2026–2028 period. The programme is designed to provide structured workplace experience within the public sector and will run for a duration of 24 months.

All internship placements will be based at the Department’s offices in Pretoria, Gauteng.

Programme Details

  • Duration: 24 Months (2026–2028)

  • Monthly Stipend: R7 860.50

  • Location: Pretoria, Gauteng

  • Closing Date: 06 February 2026 at 12h00

⚠️ The Department does not provide accommodation or transport. Applicants must be willing and able to report to Pretoria for the duration of the internship.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Hold a Grade 12 / Matric Certificate

  • Possess a three-year Degree or National Diploma (NQF Level 6) recognised by SAQA

  • Have a qualification relevant to the internship applied for

  • Be a South African citizen

  • Be unemployed and have not previously participated in an internship programme
