About the App

This App was developed in 2021 and was approved by the principal and the School Governing Body as part of reaching the school’s goals of Information, Communication and Technology (ICT). It is meant to perform the tasks applicable in digital (online) schooling.

A. Features

  • Offline tools: Ability to work with learning resources without access to internet or even switching on your mobile data.                      
  • Class: School program where learners are able to be reminded of their school work (such as homework/ assignments), access to school materials, view their timetable and learn through videos (extra classes).
  • Announcements from principal: By just one tab, users receive a message from the principal and the principal is able to send a message across efficiently.
  • School website: No need to browse (search) the school website.
  • AI updates: NO NEED TO CHECK/ ACCESS Play Store to update the app, as updates are detected and downloaded within the app.

B. Users

    • 1. Parents
      – Able to see what activities their children do/ receive at school.
      – Get a chance to get involved of their children’s school work.
      – Receive direct communications with principal and the school in general.
      – Access to academic resources without the need of internet or turning on your mobile data.
    • 2. Learners
      – Learn on the App.
      – Access of school materials 24/7.
      – No need to write down reminders on paper.
      – Access to academic resources without the need of internet or turning on your mobile data.
      – View day to day time-table and will also see exam time- table during the exam period.
    • 3. Teachers
      – Upload school work.
      – Communicate with learners.
      – Access to academic resources without the need of internet or turning on your mobile data.
    • 4. Any other users
      – Enjoy access to general academic resources for free and without the need of internet or turning on your mobile data.

C. Information collected on the App (Privacy).

  • Allowing access to your mobile device is only needed for you to upload your work.
  • No personal data is viewed or collected by the school or third parties for any purposes.

The School App functions like typical Apps such as WhatsApp, facebook, tiktok and telegram.
