The Department of Basic Education invites suitably qualified and experienced professionals to apply for a senior management position within its national office. 🎓 Minimum Requirements

Applicants must possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Education or Social Sciences (NQF Level 7) or equivalent
  • A postgraduate qualification (advantageous)
  • A minimum of five (5) years’ experience at senior management level

Required expertise includes:

  • Education planning and policy implementation
  • Human resource management within the education sector
  • Labour relations and workforce management

Knowledge requirements:

  • Education systems and policies in South Africa
  • HR planning frameworks and implementation strategies
  • Provincial education department operations

Additional skills:

  • Proficiency in computer applications
