Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead governance frameworks for State-Owned Companies (SOCs)
  • Provide strategic advisory support to executive leadership
  • Oversee compliance, reporting systems, and governance standards
  • Manage board governance processes and shareholder relations
  • Ensure efficient resource management and team leadership

2. Director: Public Entity Oversight

  • Location: Pretoria
  • Salary: R1 266 714 per annum (all-inclusive)

Key Requirements:

  • NQF Level 7 qualification in Finance or Accounting
  • At least 5 years’ managerial experience in finance or public entities
  • Strong understanding of PFMA, GAAP, and IFRS

Core Responsibilities:

  • Monitor financial performance of public entities
  • Analyse budgets, expenditure, and compliance reports
  • Provide financial advisory and governance oversight
  • Ensure alignment with National Treasury regulations
  • Lead financial reporting and strategic planning initiatives
