1. Deputy Director: Social, Governance and Justice (IDC)

The National Treasury is recruiting a qualified professional to assist with the management and coordination of Official Development Assistance (ODA) programmes within government structures. The role focuses on donor coordination, governance support, compliance management, and operational oversight linked to the RDP Fund.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • Grade 12 certificate
  • National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Economic Sciences, Social Sciences, or Development Studies
  • Minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience
  • At least 2 years’ experience at Assistant Director level or equivalent
  • Knowledge of public policy development and developmental management

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating Official Development Assistance projects
  • Managing compliance with international agreements
  • Supporting donor funding alignment with national budgets
  • Overseeing operational administration of the RDP Fund

2. Deputy Director: Multi-Media and Production Management

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 4 years’ experience in design or multimedia management
  • Minimum 2 years at Assistant Director level or equivalent

Main Responsibilities

Duties include:

  • Leading multimedia production and design projects
  • Managing branding and digital communication outputs
  • Supervising photographers, videographers, and designers
  • Maintaining digital asset management systems
  • Ensuring copyright and content compliance
  • Coordinating stakeholder communication campaigns

3. Assistant Director: Cash Management

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience within a finance environment
  • Knowledge of cash management and financial processes

Key Responsibilities

  • Forecast short-term and long-term cash flows
