Senior Management Position

Director: Economics and Fiscal Oversight (Level 13)

  • Salary: R1 260 000 – R1 490 000 per annum (Total Cost to Employer)

  • Minimum Requirements:

    • Degree in Economics, Accounting, or Public Administration (NQF Level 7)

    • At least 5 years’ experience at middle management level

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Fiscal policy analysis

    • Revenue forecasting

    • Economic research

    • Strategic leadership and oversight

This role requires extensive knowledge of public finance, fiscal frameworks, and intergovernmental financial systems.


Deputy Director Positions (Level 11)

The following Deputy Director posts are available:

  • Municipal Infrastructure Management (12-month contract)

  • Provincial Infrastructure Management (12-month contract)

  • PERSAL Support and Administration

  • Accounting and Reporting (MFMA)

  • Provincial Accounting Compliance

  • Financial Accounting and Salary Administration

  • Salary Range: R896 436 – R1 055 958 per annum (TCE)

  • Requirements: Relevant qualification (NQF Level 6–7) and experience within government or financial management environments.


Assistant Director Positions (Level 09)

Available roles include:

  • LOGIS Support and Administration

  • Fiscal Policy Analysis (12-month contract)

  • Provincial Asset Management (PFMA)

  • Accounting and Reporting

  • Revenue Management

  • Human Resource Administration

  • Labour Relations

  • Salary Range: R468 459 – R551 823 per annum

Applicants should demonstrate knowledge of public sector financial systems such as BAS, LOGIS, PERSAL, PFMA, and MFMA.


Administrative and Support Positions

Personal Assistants (Levels 06–07)

  • Provide administrative and executive support to senior management and audit committees.

  • Relevant office management or secretarial qualification required.

Cleaners (Level 02 – 12 Posts)

  • Salary: R138 486 – R163 131 per annum

  • Minimum Requirement: Grade 10 or ABET Level 2

  • No prior experience required.
