Minimum Requirements:

  • National Diploma (NQF 6) or Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in Internal Auditing or Accounting

  • At least 4 years’ internal audit experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience at Assistant Director level or equivalent

  • Knowledge of QAIP methodologies

  • CIA, PIA, or Quality Assurance certification (advantageous)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality assurance reviews within Internal Audit

  • Contribute to risk assessments and audit planning

  • Report to and liaise with the Audit Committee

  • Lead internal process improvements and resource planning


2. Assistant Director: Budget Reform

Salary: R582 444 per annum (excluding benefits)

This position supports the development and maintenance of the Vulekamali Budget Data Portal to enhance public access to transparent budget information.

Minimum Requirements:

  • National Diploma (NQF 6) in Information Technology or Informatics

  • Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) (advantageous)

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT, software development, programming, or data analysis

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean, validate, and upload budget datasets

  • Maintain and enhance the data portal

  • Develop documentation and data dictionaries

  • Provide training and technical support to stakeholders

  • Resolve portal-related technical issues


3. Assistant Director: Legal Administration

Division: Office of the General Counsel
Salary: R468 459 per annum (excluding benefits)
Location: Pretoria

The Office of the General Counsel requires a legal professional to assist with trust deeds, bona vacantia matters, labour relations, and operational reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

  • LLB or equivalent four-year Bachelor’s Degree in Law (NQF 7)

  • Minimum 3 years’ legal experience

  • Knowledge of Constitutional and Administrative Law

  • Strong drafting and research skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage bona vacantia applications and judgments

  • Provide legal support in labour relations matters

  • Draft legal pleadings and advisory opinions

  • Respond to oversight and compliance requirements

  • Compile operational legal reports


4. Assistant Director: Human Resources Planning & Information Systems

Minimum Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct HR forecasting and workforce analysis
