Salary: R324 579 – R1 111 323 per annum (OSD Total Cost Package)

Appointment will be made in accordance with Occupational Specific Dispensation (OSD) provisions, based on qualifications and post-qualification experience.
Minimum Requirements
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

MR3: LLB degree + 5 years post-qualification legal experience
-
MR4: LLB degree + 8 years post-qualification legal experience
-
MR5: LLB degree + 14 years post-qualification legal experience
Additional Requirements:

Admission as an Attorney or Advocate of the High Court

Minimum of five years’ legal experience
-
Public sector experience will be advantageous

Key Responsibilities
The Legal Administrative Officer will:

Manage legal matters affecting the organisation
-
Provide litigation support
-
Draft, vet, and review contracts, SLAs, and MOUs
-
Handle debt collection matters
-
Serve on internal committees and governance structures
-
Provide legal advice on procurement, labour law, contracts, and policy matters
-
Interpret legislation and advise on infrastructure procurement regulations
