Limpopo Department of Agriculture and Rural Development Vacancies 2026 (Multiple Opportunities)

The Limpopo Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has announced a range of employment opportunities for 2026 across several professional and administrative fields.   • Salary: R1,266,450 per annum

  • Location: Polokwane

  • Requirements:

    • Engineering Degree

    • Registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA)

Deputy Director Positions

The department is also seeking experienced professionals for several Deputy Director roles, including:

  • Deputy Director: Communication Services (Marketing & Events)

  • Deputy Director: Research Centre Management

  • Deputy Director: Records Management

  • Deputy Director: Corporate Services

  • Deputy Director: Financial Management Services

Minimum Requirements:

  • NQF Level 6 qualification

  • At least 5 years relevant experience

  • Minimum 3 years at Assistant Director level

Assistant Director Positions

  • Facilities and Record Management

  • Security Management Services

  • SHERQ and Special Programmes

  • Human Resource Planning and Information

  • Human Resource Training and Development

  • Performance Monitoring and Evaluation

Salary: Starting from approximately R468,459 per annum

Technical and Scientific Positions

Specialist technical opportunities are available for qualified professionals:

  • Scientific Technician (Animal Nutrition and Product Quality)

  • Scientific Technician (Breeding and Reproductive Physiology)

Requirements:

  • Relevant scientific qualification

  • Professional registration with the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP)

Finance and Human Resources Positions

Additional vacancies include:

  • Senior State Accountant

  • Senior Personnel Practitioner

  • HR Practitioner

  • Personnel Practitioner

These roles support financial management and human resource administration within the department.

Entry-Level and Support Positions
