Required Qualifications

Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields:

  • Demographic Studies

  • Population and Development Studies

  • Social Sciences

  • Monitoring and Evaluation

Candidates must also have at least five years of experience at junior management level in a research or population development environment.

Responsibilities

Key duties include:

  • Managing demographic and population research projects

  • Collaborating with research institutions and government departments

  • Accounting

  • Developing internal audit and risk management standards

Deputy Director: Risk and Advisory Services

Salary: R896,436 per year

  • A qualification in Financial Accounting or a related field

  • Membership with the Institute of Risk Management South Africa (IRMSA)

  • At least three years of junior management experience in accounting or financial management

Duties

  • Developing financial policies and procedures

  • Maintaining departmental risk registers
