DHET National Skills Fund Vacancies 2026: Government Jobs Open Across South Africa

The recruitment drive aims to strengthen skills development programmes, financial governance, project implementation, and strategic oversight within the NSF. Most positions are based in Pretoria, while selected opportunities are available in Cape Town.

High-Level Government Positions Available

Among the highest-paying vacancies currently advertised is the Director: Skills Development Implementation Monitoring position, offering a total annual remuneration package of R1 266 714. The role includes responsibility for project performance oversight, business intelligence reporting, and regional monitoring across Gauteng, North West, and Free State.

DHET has also opened applications for the Director: Financial Management and Administration post, with a similar salary package exceeding R1.2 million per annum. The successful candidate will oversee financial governance, audits, asset management, facilities administration, and operational financial controls within the NSF.

Deputy Director Opportunities in Multiple Fields

Several Deputy Director vacancies have also been announced in specialized divisions, including:
