Senior Agricultural Economist – Pretoria
The Department is seeking a qualified professional to fill the position of Senior Agricultural Economist within the Directorate: International Trade Promotions.
The successful candidate will monitor and analyse regional and continental trade agreements, including the SADC Free Trade Area (FTA), SACU agreements, and the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). Responsibilities also include conducting agricultural trade analysis, advising on policy matters, and participating in strategic trade negotiations.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 certificate
- A 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics, or
- A 3-year degree plus Honours in Agricultural Economics or Economics
- At least three years’ supervisory experience in an agricultural trade or economic environment
- A valid driver’s licence

ICT Systems Administrator Vacancy – Pretoria
The Directorate: ICT Service Delivery Operations is recruiting an ICT Systems Administrator to support and maintain the Department’s ICT infrastructure.
The role includes server maintenance, user account management, troubleshooting technical issues, and researching emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotics, Machine Learning, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
Requirements
Candidates must possess:
- Grade 12 certificate
- National Diploma in Information Technology or Computer Science
- A minimum of three years’ experience in a Microsoft server environment
- Strong technical and troubleshooting abilities
- Valid driver’s licence

Business Developer Opportunity in Agriculture
