Salary Packages

DFFE offers competitive, all-inclusive remuneration packages ranging from:

  • R343 842 per annum (entry-level OSD posts)

  • Up to R1 494 900 per annum (Chief Director positions)

Certain posts include OSD benefits or contract-based remuneration.

Minimum Requirements

  • Relevant National Diploma, Degree, or Honours qualification (NQF 6–8)

  • Between 1 and 6 years’ relevant experience, depending on the role

  • Strong communication, analytical, planning, and leadership skills

  • Valid driver’s licence where travel is required

  • Professional registration where applicable

  • Senior Management Service (SMS) posts require completion of the NSG Senior Management Pre-Entry Programme
