Law Researcher

Salary: R468,459 – R551,823 per annum (Level 09)
Location: Western Cape High Court, Cape Town

Requirements:

  • LLB or equivalent four-year legal qualification

  • Minimum of 3 years’ legal research experience

  • Proven knowledge of legal research platforms (LexisNexis, Westlaw, Juta)

  • LLM qualification and valid driver’s licence will be advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct legal research in support of judicial decision-making

  • Compile comprehensive legal research memoranda

  • Proofread judgments and verify legal authorities

  • Monitor developments in legislation and case law


Senior Human Resource Information Practitioner

Salary: R397,116 – R467,790 per annum (Level 08)
Location: National Office, Midrand

Requirements:

  • National Diploma in Human Resources Management (NQF Level 6)

  • At least 3 years’ relevant HR experience

  • Proven experience working with the PERSAL system

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage PERSAL data integrity

  • Support organisational structure and staff establishment management

  • Assist with Employment Equity and HR Planning initiatives

  • Compile HR and EE compliance reports


Judge’s Secretary

Ref No: 2025/390/OCJ
Salary: R325,101 – R382,959 per annum (Level 07)
Location: KwaZulu-Natal High Court, Durban

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 certificate

  • Minimum of 1 year secretarial experience

  • Legal studies or LLB qualification will be an advantage

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide secretarial and administrative support to a Judge

  • Manage diaries, correspondence, and court documentation

  • Prepare court files, bench books, and case records


Judge’s Secretary (12-Month Contract)

Salary: R325,101 – R382,959 per annum plus 37% in lieu of benefits
Location: Gauteng High Court, Pretoria

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 certificate

  • 1–2 years’ secretarial experience

  • Valid driver’s licence

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage court rolls, judgments, and hearings

  • Liaise with legal practitioners and court officials

  • Handle confidential documentation within Judge’s chambers


Human Resource Clerk

Ref No: 2025/392/OCJ
Salary: R228,321 – R268,950 per annum (Level 05)
Location: National Office, Midrand

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 certificate

  • No prior experience required

  • HR qualification will be an advantage

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support in recruitment and appointments

  • Maintain HR records and documentation

  • Assist with conditions of service administration
