The Office of the Chief Justice (OCJ) invites applications for several administrative and judicial support vacancies across various provinces in South Africa. 1. Assistant Director: Judicial Support

Location: Supreme Court of Appeal – Bloemfontein
Salary: R468 459 – R551 823 per annum (Level 09)
Minimum Requirements:

National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Office Management, Business Administration, or a related qualification

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an administrative office management environment

Knowledge of court operations and relevant legislative frameworks
Key Responsibilities:

Administration of the Judge’s office
-
Coordination of judicial engagements and meetings
-
Monitoring and reporting on reserved judgments

Budget administration and invoice certification
-
Secretariat, logistical support, and records management
2. Judge Secretary

Location: Land Court – Randburg
Salary: R325 101 – R382 959 per annum (Level 07)
Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 certificate

1–2 years’ relevant secretarial experience

Valid driver’s license

An LLB qualification or progress toward an LLB will be an advantage
Key Responsibilities:

Diary, correspondence, and call management

Typing, filing, and distribution of judgments

Uploading documentation to Court Online and CaseLines

Preparation of court rolls and coordination of courtroom logistics
3. Registrar’s Clerk

Location: Mpumalanga Division of the High Court – Middelburg
Salary: R228 321 – R268 950 per annum (Level 05)
Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 certificate

No prior experience required

National Diploma (NQF Level 6, 360 credits) will be advantageous
Key Responsibilities:

Case flow and court record management

Administration of appeals and leave-to-appeal applications

Data capturing on court management systems
