Deputy Director: Systems and Operations Management

Salary: R1,101,468 per annum (inclusive package)

This senior-level position focuses on supporting metropolitan municipalities with infrastructure investment management and grant-funded development programmes. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing grant administration, performance monitoring, compliance management, and stakeholder engagement.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate.
  • Degree (NQF Level 7) in Built Environment (Planning or Engineering) or Financial Management.
  • Project Management qualification will be advantageous.
  • At least four years of relevant experience, including two years at Assistant Director level or equivalent.
  • Experience in grant administration, reporting, coordination, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and enhance grant management systems.
  • Monitor grant performance and reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate compliance and governance processes.

Assistant Director: Investment Planning

The National Treasury is seeking a qualified professional to support investment planning and grant coordination within urban development and neighbourhood development programmes.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Urban Development, Civil Engineering, or Financial Management.
  • Project Management qualification will be advantageous.
  • Minimum of three years’ relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of municipal service delivery, infrastructure development, and project management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate governance structures and stakeholder engagements.
  • Manage programme documentation and reporting processes.
  • Monitor project implementation and compliance requirements.
  • Support municipal planning and infrastructure assessments.
  • Conduct site visits and evaluate project performance.

Programme Coordinator: Office of the Director-General

Location: Pretoria
Salary: R413,001 per annum (excluding benefits)

The Office of the Director-General requires a Programme Coordinator to provide administrative, operational, and business support services.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate.
  • National Diploma (NQF Level 6) or Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Public Administration, Business Management, Public Management, or Project Management.
  • At least two years of administrative experience.
  • Understanding of government administration processes and budget coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate administrative and business support functions.
  • Manage records, correspondence, and filing systems.
  • Assist with procurement and financial administration.
  • Organise meetings and stakeholder engagements.
