The post offers an annual salary package ranging between R1.3 million and R1.4 million. In addition, the department is recruiting Medical Officers for facilities including Piet Retief Hospital, Elsie Ballot Hospital, and Standerton Hospital. Applicants must be registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA), with remuneration packages exceeding R1 million annually.

The pharmaceutical sector is also represented through a Pharmacist Grade 1 vacancy at Rob Ferreira Hospital in Mbombela. The successful applicant will manage pharmaceutical operations, medicine procurement, stock management, and medication distribution services.

Nursing Opportunities Across Multiple Facilities

Nursing positions form a major component of the current recruitment drive, covering primary healthcare, programme coordination, and advanced nursing specialties.

An Operational Manager Nursing (PHC) vacancy is available at Bethal Town Clinic for candidates with substantial nursing leadership and primary healthcare experience.
