Department of Tourism Vacancies 2026: Application Deadline 24 April

Salary: R1 059 105 per annum

This role is responsible for promoting transformation through the implementation and monitoring of B-BBEE sector codes within tourism.

  • Requirements: NQF Level 7 qualification; minimum 5 years’ experience; knowledge of B-BBEE legislation
  • Responsibilities: Policy development, research, reporting, and compliance monitoring

2. Deputy Director: Transport and Travel Services
Location: Pretoria
Salary: R896 436 per annum

This position oversees departmental transport logistics and travel operations.

  • Requirements: Qualification in Transport Management; 5 years’ experience; knowledge of PFMA and SCM policies
  • Responsibilities: Fleet management, supplier oversight, travel coordination, and reporting

3. Registry Clerk
Location: Pretoria
Salary: R228 321 per annum

An administrative role supporting records and document management.

  • Requirements: Grade 12; knowledge of filing systems
  • Responsibilities: Record keeping, mail handling, and courier coordination

4. Handyman
Location: Pretoria
Salary: R163 680 per annum

Supports maintenance and repair functions within departmental facilities.

  • Requirements: ABET Level 4; basic technical skills
  • Responsibilities: Repairs, inspections, and safety compliance

5. Cleaner
Location: Pretoria
Salary: R138 486 per annum

Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.

  • Requirements: ABET Level 4; basic cleaning knowledge
  • Responsibilities: Cleaning offices and facilities; equipment maintenance
