Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Town and Regional Planning, Urban and Regional Planning, or Geographical Information Science (GISc). Registration with SACPLAN or the South African Geomatics Council is also required.
Applicants should have a minimum of five years’ managerial experience within a planning or GISc environment. Key responsibilities include overseeing spatial planning functions, ensuring compliance with SPLUMA legislation, supporting municipalities with GIS services, and coordinating provincial spatial development programmes.
Assistant Director: ICT Opportunity in Pretoria
The department is also seeking qualified candidates for the role of Assistant Director: Information Communication Technology (ICT) in Pretoria.
Applicants must possess a National Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, together with at least three years’ experience in ICT infrastructure and support services.
The role involves managing network infrastructure, maintaining ICT systems, supporting users, supervising IT operations, and assisting with provincial ICT implementation projects.
Human Resource Clerk Supervisor Vacancy
Another available opportunity is the Human Resource Clerk Supervisor position based in Pretoria.
Candidates are required to have Grade 12 and a minimum of three years’ experience in human resources administration. Duties include handling recruitment processes, service benefits administration, performance management support, PERSAL transactions, and supervising HR staff.
