Medical Specialist & Medical Officer Posts

Medical Specialist: Internal Medicine

Location: Paarl Hospital
Salary: R1 341 855 – R1 773 222 per annum

The department seeks experienced Internal Medicine Specialists registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) to render specialist inpatient and outpatient services at regional hospital level.

Key Duties Include:

• Provision of specialist clinical care

• Outreach and support to district hospitals

• Supervision of junior medical staff

• Participation in clinical governance and CPD programmes

Medical Officer (Grade 1–3)

Locations:

• Ceres Hospital – Cape Winelands District

• Caledon Hospital – Overberg District

Salary: R1 001 349 – R1 322 352 per annum (plus rural allowance where applicable)

Applicants must be registered medical practitioners with the HPCSA. Experience requirements vary by grade.

Pharmaceutical Services

Assistant Manager: Pharmaceutical Services

Location: Worcester Regional Hospital
Salary: R1 093 611 per annum

This post is suited to registered pharmacists with demonstrated management experience. Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) is compulsory.

Pharmacist (Grade 1–3)

Location: Mossel Bay Sub-district
Salary: R848 862 – R1 001 349 per annum

Posts Include:

• Assistant Manager Nursing (Theatre)
