The CSPS is recruiting a qualified and experienced Office Manager to provide strategic and executive administrative support to the Secretary for Police Service.
Salary: R932 292 per annum

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must possess:
- A National Diploma or Degree (NQF 6) in Public Administration, Business Administration, Public Management, or an equivalent qualification.
- Five years’ experience in office or executive administration.
- At least three years’ experience at Assistant Director level.
- Knowledge of government systems, office management, and public service legislation.
- Strong communication, organisational, and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will:
- Coordinate executive correspondence and reporting.
- Support high-level meetings including EXCO and MANCO.
- Manage departmental document systems and protocols.
- Monitor expenditure and supervise junior staff.
- Assist with strategic projects within the Executive Support Directorate.

2. Assistant Director: Research – Ref No: CSP/08/2026
The department seeks a research professional with expertise in quantitative and impact research, particularly in violence prevention and public safety.
Salary: R605 742 per annum
Location: Pretoria
Minimum Requirements
Candidates must have:
- An NQF Level 7 qualification in Social Science, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, or a related field.
- A minimum of three years’ experience in impact research.
- Experience in quantitative research methodologies and impact analysis.
- Proficiency in research software such as SPSS, Stata, Python, and Excel.
- Strong analytical, report-writing, and presentation abilities.
Main Responsibilities
The successful applicant will:
- Conduct evidence-based quantitative research studies.
- Analyse policy and legislative impacts on crime prevention.
- Develop data collection systems and conduct fieldwork.
- Compile research reports, briefing notes, and recommendations.

Salary: R487 197 per annum

Minimum Requirements
Applicants should have:
- An NQF Level 6 qualification or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Purchasing Management, or a related SCM field.
- Three years’ supervisory experience within a supply chain environment.
- Knowledge of PFMA, Treasury Regulations, BAS, LOGIS, and SCM procedures.
- Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills.
Duties Include
- Coordinating bidding and tender processes.
- Supporting bid committees and procurement planning.
- Managing supplier databases and quotations.
- Ensuring compliance with procurement regulations.
- Assisting with resource and contract management.
