Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 7) or equivalent
  • A minimum of five years’ experience at senior management level

Demonstrated expertise is required in:

  • South African education policy frameworks
  • Curriculum systems, including NCF and CAPS
  • Strategic planning and programme management

Core competencies include leadership, financial management, innovation, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading national curriculum implementation strategies
  • Improving teacher development and instructional quality
  • Enhancing learner performance, particularly in literacy and mathematics
  • Supporting the expansion of Early Childhood Development (ECD)
